Band
Beginning Band Supply List

1. Working instrument to class every day (ie, flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, percussion bell kit)
2. 5 reeds at all times, a box of 10 is best (size 2) for clarinet and saxophone only
3. Cleaning kit (ie. Valve oil, slide cream, cork grease, swab, etc.)
4. Measures of Success book 1 for your instrument type
5. One dozen pencils (keep one in instrument case always, others in pencil bucket)
6. 1 Spiral notebook

Intermediate and Advanced Band Supply List

1. Working instrument
2. 3-4 extra reeds at all times, a box of 10 is best (size 2 1/2 to 3) for clarinet and saxophone only
3. Cleaning kit (ie. Valve oil, slide cream, cork grease, swab, etc.)
4. Your level and instrument type band book (Measures of Success Book 1&2 for Intermediate Band) or (Habits of a Successful Middle School Musician and Foundations for Superior Performance for Advanced Band)
5. One dozen pencils (keep one in instrument case always, others in pencil bucket)
6. 1 Spiral notebook
7. Black pants and white shirt for Intermediate Band. White pants and shoes. (This is your concert attire)
8. $75.00 rental fee and from due by October 1st if you are using a School District instrument

Percussion Only:

Bell kit with practice pad and Vic Firth Education Percussion Pack, about $80.00 at Main Street Music (includes all your sticks and mallets for the year). Remember to label everything.
1” binder with 10 plastic sleeves.

Art
